'23 And, Well, Me

I made a list of musical accomplishments this year, because so often I get discouraged about how little progress I seem to be making on a daily basis. This is that "look down and see how far you have climbed" moment.

October and November seem pretty empty, but I was spending every spare minute working on my first-ever EP. Plus there has been plenty of family stuff and—oh yeah—a little thing called a full-time job.

I think I sensed the slowdown in outward-facing activities during the fourth quarter as a contrast to how much actually was going on for most of the year. I learned six musicals! (Well, five; I kind of know Legally Blonde.) I produced several parodies. I got way deep into editing on the Quad Cortex. I scored over four minutes of film.
